Smart Energy Calculator
How to use this Calculator
First, you'll need to know your energy cost in cents per kilowatt hour. Next, enter your BHP in the "Pump A Brake Horsepower" field.
To make the comparison between Pump A and a Blackmer Sliding Vane pump, you'll need to obtain a comparative Brake Horsepower specific to your application. This new, optimized BHP will likely be lower than your current Brake Horsepower. To determine the Blackmer pumpBHP required for your needs, visit our exclusive pump configuration tool, blackOPS®.
Once you obtain a comparative BHP, you can input it into the Pump B field and calculate your optimized savings.
Note: Calculations assume an 88% motor efficiency.
International monetary standards coming soon.
